About Stable Cottage
Stable
Cottage is situated in the small hamlet of Donkey Street just outside
the old 12th century village of Burmarsh on the beautiful Romney Marsh.
Stable cottage is a recently converted detached cottage which has extensive views over the beautiful Romney Marsh.
Just
imagine lying in bed and looking out of the bedroom window to the long
line of hills which once formed the coastline of Kent in Roman times and
watching the horses and sheep peacefully graze in the fields.
If you are looking for peace and quiet then this IS the place for you !! Waking up in the morning to the chirp of the birds and the sun breaking through your bedroom window is one of the pleasures of Stable Cottage. The cottage has a wealth of olde worlde features which enhance the feelings of peace and tranquillity.
Stable
Cottage has its own private entrance which leads into a well equipped
kitchen which has a combination microwave grill and oven, fridge and compact
sink and cupboard area. Please note however that there is no hob in the
cottage.
We
feel Stable Cottage is ideal for a couple who are looking for a base and
who intend to eat most meals out and just want very simple cooking facilities.
From there it is a short walk from the compact dining and seating area with its comfortable upholstered window seat into the large airy bedroom with it’s en-suite shower room and W.C.
The
double bed will be made up for your arrival and all towels are provided.
There is also a Television, Radio/CD player and a hair dryer provided
in the cottage.
There is an extensive paddock area offering safe off road parking and during your stay you are welcome to enjoy the large garden area. There is ample heating at Stable Cottage to enable it to be used comfortably all year round.
